Sunday Golf
Once again a big drop of rain has washed out our chances of getting any golf in for the near future. The matchplay 1st round will be rescheduled and all 1st round games must be played by the 14th September and then we will have to play the rest of the rounds regularly to have it completed in time.
The next round of the Shire Cup was meant to be played in Guyra but we will transfer it to Armidale and play the Final 2 rounds in Guyra.
The next round will be played on the 10th of August (weather permitting) and we will go in with the same team if everyone is available to play. It will be a two man ambrose matchplay.
I will keep you posted in the paper and also the golf Facebook with Jenny with further info on the course.
HAPPY GOLFING WHEN
WE CAN GET OUT THERE

Ladies’ Golf
There was no golf played last week because of the wet weather and a very wet course.
This week the ladies are heading over to Inverell to play in the Sapphire Cup.
Next week is a 4BBB Multiplier.

Vets Golf
With all the wet weather we were extremely lucky last Tuesday the 22nd to get a game in before the downpour Tuesday night.
Ten players contested our 4BBB event and the combination of Don Campbell and Phil Devlin proved lethal coming in the winners on 37 points.
Runners up were Jon Cumming and John Prisk with 34 points. Nearest the pins went to Colin Mulligan and John Prisk.
Next week’s golf is our stroke event.
