Cricketers looking for community support
Vote for Guyra Cricket Club

Guyra Cricket Club is one of three organisations vying for support in the Greater New England funding program in January. They are hoping to get the community behind them in order to take out the $2000 top prize.
To get behind them you need to register your votes online at www.greater.com.au/greaternewengland
In previous funding rounds, Guyra residents helped both the senior and junior rugby league clubs over the line and it would be great to see Guyra do the same for the cricketers as well.
You can vote once every 24 hours, and it is also possible to vote again if you use a different device such as your phone. Please vote as often as you can and encourage all your contacts to do the same.
The T20 competition has resumed after the Christmas break.
1st grade Guyra 8/137 defeated Ex Services 7/117. Batting Joey Ryan 10, Ben Jackson 30, Michael Purvis 27, and Charlie White 34*. Bowling Charlie White 2/15, Mitch Woods 1/23, Joey Ryan 3/11 and Michael Purvis 1/12.
Guyra will play City/UNE this Saturday in the final round of the T20 competition with the final to be played at the Armidale Sportsground on Australia.
2nd grade Guyra 8/102 were defeated by Ex Services 7/105. Batting Troy Martin 15, Lucas Tait 12, Aidan Purvis 32*. Bowling Maurice Blair 3/15, Lucas Tait 1/13, Aidan Purvis 2/8. Les Perrett 1/26.
This weekend Guyra will be up against Walcha/Uralla in the final round.
3rd grade Guyra 10/57 were defeated by Ex Services 2/59. Batting Tom Lockyer 12, Tim Foster 8, Mavric Foster 12*. Bowling Hugo Brazier 2/13.
Guyra is set to play Walcha/Uralla in the final round.
