Due to the weather the Final of the Major Singles was played Wednesday July 28th between Dan Kennedy and Mallie Walls. On his journey to the Final Mallie has had a dream run but as we all know dreams sometimes have a habit of coming unstuck. In this game Dan started off as though he had somewhere to go and was in a hurry to get there. By winning 6 of the first 9 ends Dan had opened a handy lead 12 shots to 3 shots. Mallie rallied winning the next 4 ends but that was where the game seemed to get away from him finding gates that were plentiful and luck deserting him, after riding a high to this stage his luck ran out as Dan found his Mo-Jo and went on to take victory 31 shots to 13 shots over 29 ends. Congratulations Dan for being Major Champion for 2029/21 season.
