This week the Guyra Golf Ladies will be on their annual golf trip.
Next week back in Guyra we will be playing a 4BBB Aggregate.
Some ladies will also be travelling up to Deepwater to compete in the Deepwater Open 4BBB.
Good luck ladies.
A couple of high scores this week with Neil Paine and Logan Beechey on 22, followed closely by Jim Betts on 20 and Jake Ellis, Jamie Williamson and Michael Kirk on 19.
Team scores show a big range of points. This is probably because only two or three players have played for the week for their team. Makes a difference if you get at least four scores in.
Extra points this week went to Sultans of Swing and Charged Up with all six players competing. Leading point score goes to Charged Up.
The windy conditions on Sunday didn’t deter over 30 golfers from playing in the Brian Lennon Memorial ambrose. The winners were Tyson and Brandon Burey and runners up were Steve Kliendienst and Anthony Dittman. First nine winners were Ian Taylor and Len Stanley and the second nine went to Boyd Stanley and Tom Starr. Nearest to the pins were Mickey Shiner on the 7th and Boyd Stanley On the 10th and 18th, the long drive was won by Jake Ellis.
Congratulations must go to Dasha for organising and putting on a great day.
The two person ambrose for the Westpac Rescue Helicopter set down for Sunday has been postponed due to the fires.
