Reconciliation
Cricket Match
The Guyra Aboriginal Lands Council, in conjunction with the Guyra Cricket Club, will be hosting a reconciliation Twenty/20 cricket match at the Guyra Turf (Ted Mulligan Oval) on Friday December 10th. The game will kick off at 4.30pm and will feature all local players.
It is hoped there will be good support for this event and the community is invited to come along to witness the action. A sausage sizzle will operate with proceeds going to a nominated charity.
The Mate versus Mate Trophy will be up for grabs with some entertaining cricket assured.

Vets Golf
Last week only six players braved the wet conditions to play an Individual Stableford on the first nine twice. The 4th had to be played very wide to avoid the water.
The winner was Pat Grills with 36 and the runner up on 32 was Jon Cumming on a countback from Herb Wilson.
Putts were shared between Herb Wilson and Mick Kirk with 29 putts each. The only Nearest the Pin was Jon Cumming on the 7th.
Unfortunately the 10 players that were to play in the Uralla Open last Friday did not get the chance due to rain.

Midweek Golf
Too wet for everyone to play last week so the scores will carry over to this week. If you haven’t already played then now is your chance. Not sure when the no cart restrictions will be lifted. You might need to check at the club.
Congratulations to the winners for last year’s midweek that received prizes on Saturday night. Just a reminder that Mid week finishes before Christmas on Sunday 19th December 2021 and re-commences on Monday 17th January 2022.
