Guyra show class in T20 finals

Guyra third grade T20 Champions for the second year in a row

Guyra has dominated the finals of the Armidale District Cricket Association T20 competition. They won both the first grade and 3rd grade grand finals on the weekend.
In first grade Guyra 6/150 defeated Armidale City UNE 10/113
Batting: Grant Ryan (31), Joey Ryan (17), Charlie White (34), Demille Landsborough (33), Michael Purvis (17)
Bowling: Jake Ellis 3/24, Kyle Mongta 2/13, Joey Ryan 2/16, Heath Dowsett 3/22
In the 3rd Grade game Guyra 4/104 defeated Walcha/Uralla 7/103
Batting: Adrian Cameron (53), Jack Lockyer (12), Craig Lockyer (13), Simon Brown (11)
Bowling: Aidan Purvis 1/11, Tom Lockyer 1/20, Brendan Landsborough 1/11, Simon Brown 1/7, Lincoln Brown 1/17
The regular competition recommenced on the weekend. In the first grade game Guyra 10/179 defeated Armidale City UNE 10/166. Demille Landsborough (51) and Kyle Mongta (29) were best with the bat. Wicket takers were Heath Dowsett (4/30), Kyle Mongta (2/4) and Joey Ryan 2/51).
In second grade Guyra 10/99 were defeated by Walcha/Uralla 4/100. Jim Lenehan (32) and Andrew Pearson (21) were best for the bat. Tom Chard took 2/19 and Cody Patterson 1/58.
In 3rd grade Guyra 10/11 were defeated by Walcha/Uralla 9/140. Bowling for Guyra Tom Lockyer took 2/14 and Brendan William 3/12. Les Perrett (45) and Tim Foster (15) topped the tally.
