Junior League Teams reach the semis

Five Guyra Junior League teams have made it through to the semi-finals: Junior League Tag, Intermediate League Tag, Under 10s, Under 14s and Under 16s.
The Under 10s and 14s played extremely well on the weekend to secure their spot in the semi finals. They worked
exceptionally well in their teams and were brilliant in defence which got them over the line.
It will now be an interesting couple of weeks for the
Guyra Junior Spuds to see who will make it through to the Grand Final.
On the weekend was the final game for the Senior League Tag girls and our Under 12s boys. They have played
extremely well all year and have come up against some tough competition.
Our Under 6s and Under 8s also played their last games until the Gala Day.
They all should be very proud of themselves for their achievements over the season.
Guyra Junior Rugby League will be hosting Group 19 Under 6s and Under 8s Gala Day on 4th September starting at 10.00am.
We will be holding our Presentation Day at the Guyra Sporting Complex on Sunday, 11th September at 10.00am
for our Under 6s, 8s, 10s, 12s, Junior League Tag and
Intermediate League Tag. A sausage sizzle will be provided and we welcome all to attend.
On Friday, 16th September at 6.00pm at the Guyra
Bowling Club, Guyra Junior RL will be celebrating 100 years of Rugby League in Guyra and we will also have our Under 14s, 16s and Senior League Tag Presentation Night.
Tickets can be purchased from Regional Australia Bank. We welcome all our families of Junior League and everyone from the community is welcome to attend.
We encourage everyone to travel to Inverell this weekend to support our players and cheer them on to victory.
