Super Spuds 2025 Season Wrap-Up

23rd Sep 2025

As the 2025 rugby league season comes to a close, the Guyra Super Spuds would like to thank everyone who made this year such a success, from our sponsors and supporters to the players, volunteers, and dedicated community members.
A heartfelt thank you goes to Grant Robertson for capturing all the incredible action throughout the season with his amazing photography. Your work brought our games to life and will be cherished by players and families alike.
Our club thrives on community, and this year’s awards reflected just how strong that spirit remains.
Community Member of the Year was awarded to Damien Sutton for his outstanding fundraising efforts that helped ensure our teams could take the field each week.
Club Volunteers of the Year went to Cherie Brazier, for her tireless work running the canteen, and Kyle Mongta, who stepped up as league safe for both teams almost every week. Your contributions have not gone unnoticed.
A big thank you also to the CWA Ladies for the delicious meal and desserts served at our presentation night, and to Jo Presnell for her hard work behind the bar.
Thank you once again to everyone who contributed to making the 2025 season one to remember. The Guyra Super Spuds look forward to seeing you all back next year stronger, prouder, and more united than ever!
The Guyra Super Spuds Rugby League Football Club invites all players, members, supporters, and community members to attend our 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM).
The meeting will be held on the 9th October at the Guyra Hotel starting at 6.30pm. New members and volunteers are warmly encouraged to attend. Your voice and support help shape the future of our club. All positions are declared open.
