Young Guns Shine on State and International Stage

Fletcher Richardson shooting at the ISSF Junior World Cup
10th Jun 2025

Some of Guyra Gun Club’s youngest members have been making their mark both internationally and at home.
Fletcher Richardson recently wrapped up his debut appearance representing Australia at the ISSF Junior World Cup in Suhl, Germany. Donning the green and gold and braving tough weather conditions, Fletch delivered a solid performance, shooting 109 out of 125 targets — an impressive effort for his first time competing overseas.
He is now looking forward to competing in further international events in Rome later this year and New Zealand early next year.
A trio of young shooters also impressed at the NSW State Skeet Titles held in Wagga Wagga in late May. Congratulations goes to Charlie Ward, who claimed the NSW Ladies Teams High Gun, and Cohen Wright, who secured the NSW Junior Teams High Gun.
Charlie’s success was further recognized with her selection to the NSW Ladies Team for the upcoming National Championships. Toby Handebo rounded out a talented trio that did their club and zone proud.
