Guyra Pony Club has recorded one of its strongest Zone Jamboree performances in recent history, returning home with an impressive list of team and individual achievements across multiple age groups.
In the overall club results, Guyra finished as the second highest scoring club for riders under 17 years and was named the highest scoring club overall for Associate riders, highlighting the depth of talent and consistency across the club.
Team performances were a standout feature of the Jamboree. Guyra’s Junior Team of Fours claimed first place, while also being awarded the Highest Aggregate Junior Team Pointscore. This achievement marked a significant milestone for the club, as it is a trophy that has never previously been won by a Guyra team since its inception in 1959.
Adding to the strong team results, the Sub Junior Team of Fours secured second place, further demonstrating the strength of Guyra’s younger riders.
Individual riders also enjoyed remarkable success across all age divisions. In the Under 7 Girls category, Lucy was awarded Reserve Highest Point Score, while Thea claimed the Highest Point Score for 7 and Under 9 Girls.
Jackson delivered an exceptional performance, winning the 9 and Under 11 Boys Highest Point Score and also being named Overall Highest Junior Point Score for riders aged 9 to under 13 years.
Continuing the run of success, Grace Schaefer was awarded Highest Point Score in the 11 and Under 13 division, and Abbie claimed Highest Point Score for 13 and Under 15 Girls. In the Associate ranks, Charlie was named Associate Ladies Highest Point Score.
The Jamboree also saw a special mention for Max, the youngest rider at the event at just four years of age, who confidently competed throughout the competition and embodied the spirit of Pony Club participation.
