Guyra is outright leader in Group 19 A grade competition after another dominant display by the Super Spuds on Sunday.
The top of the table clash with Glen Innes was locked at 12-all just before halftime after tries to Mark Walker and Corey Torrens in the opening 20 minutes and two responses from Glen.
It took Walker’s second just before the break to edge Guyra in front 18-12 at the break.
Captain-coach Jayden French scored straight after halftime and the Spuds never looked back, apart from one errant try from the Magpies.
Walker ended up with three, Torrens and French both bagged two and the other tries went to Tremane Patterson, Kyle Mongta and Alistiar Connors as the Spuds ran away to a 58-16 win.
Torrens (3), Walker (2) and French (1) scored the best and fairest points on top of their try-scoring efforts and Guyra pushed two points clear on the ladder after Moree’s surprise loss.
The day began with a strong showing from the U18s, who scored five tries to one in a 24-4 win.
Tahmani Landsborough, Archie Dowden and Rave Brazier ran in first half tries to take a 16-4 lead.
In the second half the visitors failed to breach the sky blue wall and Malekai Landsborough and Ben Reinke made sure of the win with second half tries.
Archie Dowden was man of the match, despite being sent off late in the game, while Tahmani Landsborough (2) and Rave Brazier (1) earned the other club points.
Guyra almost had three from three for the day but a late Glen try stole the leaguetag game by two points.
Kyiesha Landsborough scored a hat-trick of tries to help give the Spudettes a 22-14 lead midway through the second half.
Sharnae Smith and Lorissa Wilson scored the other tries.
Glen cut the margin and then nicked the game with a try two minutes from fulltime.
Kyiesha Landsborugh scored three best and fairest points, Taylor Waters took two and Amanda Brook one.
The two senior teams head to Bingara this Saturday, while the 18s have a week off.
