On Sunday the Guyra golfers hosted the 2026 Guyra 4BBB Open proudly sponsored by APL. It was a great day supported by golfers from around the New England region.
The winners are as follows.
C Grade winners were (and I don’t think I have heard of this happening before) the team of Len Stanley and his Great Grandson Lachie Colley, this is a great effort by both players.
B Grade Runners Up - Peter Hall and Sean O’Brian from Bundarra, Winners - Brian and Macklin Groth also Bundarra.
A Grade Runners Up - Tyson Burey and Steven Wilson, Winners- Tim Murray and Matthew Bull from Armidale.
Nearest the pin on 7th and longest drive went to Tim Murray. Nearest the pin on 10th- Ryan Kinnear from Inverell. Nearest the pin on 18th- Mick Kinnear from Inverell.
A big thank you to Blake O’Reilly and his team from APL Group of Guyra and Armidale for becoming our new 4bbb Guyra Open sponsor and supplying us with some wonderful prizes for the day.
This Sunday is the final Round of the Championships.
