The Spudettes are the Group 19 leaguetag plate champions and the Guyra club also picked up its club championship trophy on Sunday.
The season came to an end with success on the field thanks to the Spudettes beating Walcha/Uralla 14-4 in the plate grand final at Bellevue Oval in Armidale.
Ash Richardson scored almost immediately to get Guyra in front early.  Walcha/Uralla hit back before halftime to make it 4-all at the break.
It took a kick and an in-goal scramble but Jamiah Jarrett put the Spudettes back in front in the second half with a try out wide.
Kayla Kim-Moran then split the defence and passed to Kyiesha Landsborough who beat several defenders on her way to the line.
Amanda Brooks converted the try and Guyra was up 14-4 with not long to play.   The strong Guyra defence held on in the dying minutes and the win was complete.
Kiarna Landsborough was named player of the grand final after a big game in attack and defence.
The plate competition is a new concept that allowed teams that missed the top four to contest a second division or reserve grade trophy.
The club also collected the club championship trophy – the 11th time Guyra has won this trophy since the inception of Group 19 in 1980.
Despite missing out on a grand final appearance, some A grade and under 18s players also won some trophies on grand final day.

In A grade Billy Youman (rookie of the year), Mark Walker (leading try-scorer) and Alistiar Connors (leading point-scorer) picked up trophies, while Oscar Atkin was the leading point-scorer in the U18s and took home the honour of best and fairest for the season.

The club presentation night is up next, on Saturday September 9 at the bowling club from 6.30pm.
Tickets are $35 and are available from the bowling club, Fourways or by contacting the committee.
Details of the annual general meeting will also be announced soon.
