Bowlers win senior team of the year

One game of pairs were played last weekend with Barry Campbell and John Jackson too good for Barry Presnell and Jason Varcoe, winning 30-10.
Bowls set down for this Sunday the 26th November at 12 o’clock: In major/minor pairs Mathew Simpson and Tim Ellis will play Graham Starr and Dan Kennedy, and in club pairs Geoff and Wayne Reeves will play Noah and Shane Brennan.
In the final of the minor singles John Jackson will play Robert walls with Roger Cox to mark. In the semi-final of the major singles Anthony Bull is playing Robert Moore with Colin Stanley marking.
On Sunday the 10th December the Brian Vickery ham day will be held, all members are welcome. To play, names and $5 need to be in by 11:30 for a 12:30 start. Bowls shirt to be worn. 
In other news the Guyra number 3 pennant team was awarded the trophy for the best senior team of the year by the Armidale regional sports council, a great achievement for our little club.
