07th Apr 2026

The inaugural Nutrien Boulton’s Working Dog Sale, held on March 15th at Nowendoc Recreation Grounds, featured a standout moment with the Ben Nevis Vendor Shoot-Out.
Congratulations to Guyra local Troy Brazier and his dog Connie, who claimed top honours in the competition with an impressive display of skill, control and teamwork.
The event showcased the high calibre of working dogs and handlers, with all competitors delivering strong performances throughout the shoot-out.A big thank you goes to sponsors Ben Nevis Angus Stud for their support in making the competition possible.
The inaugural sale was the idea of Nutrien Boulton agent Maddie Davidson, who had a “passion for working dogs” and wanted a chance to bring people into contact with the dogs for sale. The auction had 11 of 13 dogs sold to the $11,000 top price and an average of $6091.
