Vets Golf
Still no vets golf in Guyra last Tuesday (6th). I think we would all like to see the rain go away for a little while. Hang in there vets, it will happen one day. As soon as you hear word that the course is open to carts golf will be on. When this happens we will all have to show respect to the course and drive carts appropriately, as most golfers do.
Col Walls and Phil Devlin got a game in last Thursday at the Dorrigo open.  What a beautiful picturesque course this is. I’ve been there twice now and it’s very unique in that it serves up to all players a beautiful T-Bone steak lunch, all included in golf fees.
Colin had a blinder, lost his ball on the first hole for a miss, but then fired up to score 38 points winning the B grade and second best score of the day.
Hopefully see you all on the course soon.
Drake.

Ladies’ Golf
Last week there was no golf played on our course as it is still too wet for carts. Four of our ladies played in the NEDGA 4BBB Tournament up at Tenterfield. The winners had 42 points they were from Tenterfield.
Leonie Taylor and Julie Walker had 37 points. Debbie Heffernan and Nancy Prisk had 32 points. Julie Walker won the most accurate drive in Division 2.
This week is the Foursomes Championships sponsored by the Gittoes Family. Weather permitting.
Next week is the Keno Ambrose. Kerry Bull is the starter. Several ladies are playing in the Warialda Ladies Open. Good luck to all!
