Vets Golf
Tuesday the 15th saw a nice cooler day for golf. The greens are improving as the season improves. Fifteen players competed in a Four Ball with the winners, Len Stanley and Don Campbell combining for a score of 48. They were closely followed by the swinging teams of Ian Taylor and Paul Redden, and Ian Taylor and Ken Fuller, both with a score of 47.
Nearest the Pins, both on the 7th was Kim Shaw the first 9 and Herb Wilson on the second 9.
We have good numbers to help on the Lamb and Potato roster next Monday and nominations for Pennants at Guyra on the 28th are rolling in.

Men’s Golf
With the course closed last weekend due to the rain and muddy conditions, no golf was played on Sunday.
Sixteen golfers did travel to Glen Innes on Sunday for the NEDGA pennants that were postponed from December. Although Guyra didn’t come back with a pennant they were extremely competitive. Glen Innes got the chocolates winning both pennants on offer.
Next Sunday will be a two-person ambrose, so why not celebrate Australia Day in style, with a beer and a game of golf with your mates.
