Top of the Range Fours
In ideal weather conditions The Top of the Range Fours was played. 24 teams stepped onto the greens, they came from: Moree, Murrundi, Barraba, Werris Creek, Kootingal, South Tamworth, Bingara, Inverell RSM, Macksville, Armidale City, Inverell Sporties, Kilcoy, Glen Innes, A number of Composite teams and Guyra.
After 5 games of 15 ends the winners were determined:
Winners: S Hamilton, S Dodd, D Williams (Inverell Sporties) and C Cameron (Gunnedah) with 5 wins plus 46 points.
Second Place: J Bullen, G Latham, K Cundy and G Bourke (Armidale City) with 5 wins plus 30 points.
Third Place: B Gough, A Beachley, P Ball and S Kelly (Kilroy) with 4 Wins plus 20 points.
Fourth Place: D Morgan, J Edwards, C Paton and J Thomas (Inverell Sporties) with 4 wins plus 20 points.
Fifth Place: J Walker, J Coombs, l Malise and M Reed (Barraba) with 4 wins plus 12 points.

Bowlers please note that due to insufficient numbers the No. 7 Pennant Grade has been withdrawn. There will be a Rollup and Barbeque for those wishing to be selected for No.3 Pennants on Friday February 5th commencing at 5.30 pm; it is the intention of the Selectors to announce the teams for the first round of Pennants at the Rollup. So make yourselves available on this date to give the selectors a chance to select the best teams possible.
