The Highland Goats

The TAS Rugby Carnival was held at The Armidale School on 13th and 14th April. It is the largest junior rugby carnival in Australia, attracting teams from as far north as the Sunshine Coast QLD and as far south as the southern highlands NSW.
Three Guyra boys; Darcy Sisson, Flynn McFarlane and Christopher Welsh played in the Highland Goats barbarian team along with players from Narrabri, Armidale and Inverell. The boys were undefeated in their 6 games with 5 wins and a nil-all draw.
The boys played outstanding rugby and showed great sportsmanship, forging new friendships and having a lot of fun along the way. Thanks goes to their coaches, generous sponsors and travelling team mates for making it all possible.
