The grants program is normally offered twice a year however the 2022/23 round of funding has been consolidated into one round before a review of the council’s grant process is undertaken and relaunched in the second half of this year.
Armidale mayor Sam Coupland said the small grants program is designed to assist local community groups or organisations to continue to deliver a service or event that benefits our region.
“The grants program we offer assists in delivering initiatives that support a range of social and economic benefits to our community,” said mayor Coupland
“This is a great way to potentially source some additional funds to allow community organisations to keep a vital community initiative running or to contribute towards a new or existing event.”
