Auction sale details
07th Nov 2023

An auction of an enormous range of goods at 34 Llangothlin St, Guyra, on 25th November reflects a long association with our town.
The Beesley family’s history of main street retailing commenced in 1914, with Hanson Beesley opening a drapery store after moving from Uralla.
Following Hanson’s death in December 1954, the business was taken over by the sons, John and Don who expanded into furniture, electrical goods and sundry items.
They traded until the early 1990’s.
The auction at the home of John and Marie Beesley includes an enormous amount of antique and collectible items from the family’s 100 years in business.
The sale commences at 9.00am with a pre-sale inspection on Friday, 24th November from 1pm until 4pm.
