12th Aug 2025

Once again, the Northern
New South Wales / Queensland region will be proudly hosting the National Red Poll Youth Camp, to be held from Friday 10th to Sunday 12th October 2025 at the Glen Innes Showgrounds.
Open to young people aged 8 to 25 years who are interested in cattle handling and the beef industry, the camp offers a unique mix of hands-on activities, cattle showing experience, and engaging industry tutorials. Whether you’re just getting started or already have some experience, this camp has something for everyone.
Led by a team of experienced cattle breeders and handlers, the camp is designed to be fun, practical, and educational — in a relaxed and supportive environment. We pride ourselves on running a small, hands-on camp that is enjoyed by all.
The cost is $225 for non-members and $200 for ARPCBI members, covering accommodation, all meals (from 10am Friday to 4pm Sunday), instruction, and loan cattle.
Participants under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Parents are welcome to visit the Glen Innes Showgrounds at any time during the camp.
Applications close Friday, 22nd August 2025, and entries are taken through the website: www.redpoll.au. Don’t miss your chance to be part of this rewarding and memorable weekend.
Support the Future of the Industry
As in previous years, we’re also reaching out for support to help run this great event. Whether you’re a local business, past participant, cattle producer or supporter of youth in agriculture, your contribution helps us keep the camp affordable and impactful.
To make a donation, please visit the Donations area on our website: www.redpoll.au. In the comments section, include your name and let us know if there’s something specific you’d like your contribution to support.
