Bald Blair Public School success at PSSA Zone Cross Country
19th May 2026
On Friday, May 15th, the Primary Schools Cross Country Championships took place at the University of New England, bringing together talented young runners from across the zone. Bald Blair Public School was proudly represented by: Cooper Turnham, Fergus McFarlane, Dustin Turnham, Sadie MacDougall, Evelyn Kopp, Willow Cruickshank, Alannah Jackson, Jorja Cruickshank, Caleb Kopp, and Grace Schaefer.
Competing against other primary schools in the zone, our students demonstrated remarkable speed and stamina throughout the event. The times were fast and Bald Blair students are to be congratulated on their achievements.
Our school received a second in the Small Schools Competition coming in close behind Kentucky Public School.
Special congratulations go to Evelyn Kopp, Dustin Turnham and Fergus McFarlane who have been selected to represent the Armidale Zone at the upcoming Regional Cross Country trials at Coolah in June.
