Celebration of Leadership and Achievement

Guyra Central School’s first Primary Assembly of 2026 was a memorable occasion, highlighting the importance of leadership, achievement, and community spirit within the school.
A special moment was the presentation of leadership badges to the newly appointed Student Leadership Team. Proud parents, carers, and loved ones joined the ceremony to pin badges on their children, marking the start of their leadership journey for the year. The school extends congratulations to all leaders for stepping up to represent their peers with pride and dedication.
The Primary Captains leading the way this year are Grace Atkin and Hugh Kliendienst. Student Representative Council (SRC) members include Orlando Hodgens (Year 2), Violet Atkin (Year 3), James Hassett (Year 3), Isla Lenehan (Year 3), Lachlan (Year 4), Olivia Bennett (Year 4), Jackson Atkin (Year 5), Laura Jackson (Year 5), Jackson Griffin (Year 6), and Jaearla Landsborough (Year 6).
Sports leadership is overseen by Ivy-Rose Brazier (Malpas Captain) and Jero Remkonkon (Malpas Vice Captain), Hunter Melmeth (Chandler Captain) and Airlie Vidler (Chandler Vice Captain), and Ashton Hutton (Nincoola Captain) alongside Ariella Galindo (Nincoola Vice Captain). Additionally, Olivia Seaton is serving as Technology Captain, Lakia Cutmore as Creative Arts Captain, and Jack Munro-Davies represents the school as Junior AECG Representative.
