Black Mountain Public School at Visual Arts Camp

Congratulations to Tallara Patterson and Arwyn Sampson who were selected to attend the Colour the Earth Visual Arts Camp at Thalgarrah Environment Education Centre on the 14th and 15th May. This was a two-day camp for high potential and talented art students.
The Artists in Residence conducting the workshops this year were Jennie Hegarty, Kate McCleneghan and street artist: CRISP. The students participated in painting, water colour, sun printing, stencil creation, street art and digital photography. Artworks were inspired by the natural environment around Thalgarrah EEC. These lessons were to improve observational skills as well as develop skills in artistic composition.
