Lighting up for Christmas

02nd Nov 2021

Christmas celebrations will return to the region this year and Bradley Street Guyra will be lighting up on Friday December 3rd. The Rotary Club of Guyra is teaming up with Armidale Regional Council for the Guyra celebration, which includes the lighting of the town Christmas tree.
There will be presents for the kids, market and food stalls, music, jumping castle and fun for all. Stalls can be booked by contacting hamishyeates@hotmail.com. Festivities will commence from around 4pm.
Festivities are also planned for Armidale where the Beardy Street Mall will be transformed into a street of market stalls, food vans, live entertainment and kids’ activities on Thursday December 2nd. Festivities will span from Faulkner Street to Jessie Street as the celebration continues to grow in popularity and to adhere to social distancing regulations.
Activities will commence from 5pm with Santa and his elves making a special appearance at the festive fun event.
