30th Sep 2025

A new and exciting retail experience opened in Guyra this week. Lightning Used Micro-Market, a unique three-month pop-up shop specializing in second-hand homeware and goods, will celebrate its grand opening this week, just in time for the annual Guyra TroutFest (October 3-6).
Located at 140 Bradley Street in the space recently vacated by “Our Little Gallery,” the new shop aims to offer the community an affordable and ever-changing selection of quality pre-loved items.
The market’s inventory is a treasure trove of donations, featuring everything from vintage homeware and quality kitchen items to pre-loved clothing, tools, books, and quirky bric-a-brac.
“We believe in giving these goods a second life and providing an affordable option for the Guyra community,” said a spokesperson for the new venture.
“We’re thrilled to be opening during TroutFest, a time when the town is full of energy. We hope to become a fun destination for both locals and visitors looking for unique and useful finds.”
Lightning Used Micro-Market will operate for a limited time, making each visit a new discovery. The business is committed to a simple, low-cost model, ensuring that the savings are passed directly on to the customer.
