Vets Golf

Last week saw a surprisingly low number of players compete in a 4 ball. The day turned out to be very pleasant for golf although the course was a little wet which showed in the low scores.
The winners with only 36 points were Herb Wilson and Wal Chapman. The runners up, Don Campbell and Phil Devlin, were only one behind on 35.
The only nearest the pin was won by Herb Wilson on the 18th.
The AGM for the Vets will be held at about 2.30pm after golf on September 1st. Please consider taking a position or register your interest in helping at tournaments and special event days.
