Visitor impressed with progress of Guyra Men’s Shed

In the last three weeks, we received a visit from Beth Gow. Beth is the Australian Men’s Shed Association Shed Support worker for NSW and the ACT. The visit coincided with Men’s Shed Week, which ran from September 4th to September 10th.
Beth was very impressed with what we have achieved and what the final revamp will look like. Beth was also impressed by the equipment that we have been fortunate to be able to build up considering the humble start we had. She said that with what we had achieved, and with our future outlook, everything points to a successful shed which will enhance the future of the Men’s Shed. It will also build on our effort in our local area for the benefit of men who wish to become part of the Men’s Shed.
As shed supervisor, I would like to extend out thanks for Beth’s visit and the morning tea she provided.
