St Mary of the Angels students explore Canberra

Students from St Mary of the Angels enjoyed an unforgettable camp to Canberra from September 14th to 18th, gaining new insights into Australia’s history and democracy.
Highlights included a tour of Parliament House, where students saw first-hand how government works, and a reflective visit to the Australian War Memorial to learn about the courage and sacrifice of those who served.
The group also explored key national attractions such as the National Museum of Australia and Questacon, combining fun, interactive learning with cultural experiences.
Teachers said the camp was a valuable opportunity for students to build independence and strengthen friendships while deepening their understanding of the nation.
