Costa Tomatoes launches Community Grants Program

17th Jan 2023

The Costa Group is seeking expressions of interest from local groups for donations and sponsorship under the “Well Grown Community Grants Program.”
State Manager of Vertical Farming, Scot MacDonald, said that Costas supports a wide range of schools, sporting organisations and community groups.
“The Costa Group is proud to be a large employer and significant economic booster to the region,” Mr McDonald said. “We are changing our donations and sponsorship approach to an annual Expression of Interest.
“The program opened on Monday January 16th and will close on February 20th. Submissions will be judged on their connection to the criteria outlined in the Program, including the development of youth; women in agriculture; enhancing education and environmental initiatives.
“We believe this will be the best and fairest way to respond to the requests we receive all year round, and demonstrate Costas’ values in action.”
Applications can be submitted online by visiting the website https://costagroup.com.au/costa-tomato-exchange. For more information, see the advertisement in this edition of the Gazette or email brett.ryan@costagroup.com.au
Successful submissions for 2023 will be announced on February 24th.
