Farewell to the Class of 2025

30th Sep 2025

Guyra Central School Year 12 students at a special valedictory assembly on Friday September 25th. The event marked the end of 13 years of schooling for the class of 2025, a journey filled with achievements, challenges, and plenty of laughter along the way.
Relieving Principal Tim Lloyd paid tribute to the graduating class, describing them as a cohort who had contributed much to the life of the school.
“After 13 years of education, our Year 12 students have undoubtedly encountered many highs, a few lows, and, we hope, an abundance of laughter,” Mr Lloyd said.
“As they prepare to embark on exciting new adventures, I encourage them to embrace the values cultivated during their time here - compassion, integrity, respect, and responsibility. These qualities will serve them well wherever life takes them.”
Mr Lloyd added that the school community would feel their absence.
“We will truly miss seeing their familiar faces each day, but we look forward to hearing about their journeys beyond Guyra Central,” he said. “
“They carry with them not only their education but the support and pride of their teachers, families, and community.”
The school also extended its best wishes to the students as they head into their HSC exams and future pathways.
