Free Community Workshop

11th May 2021

Armidale Regional Council, as part of its Climate Emergency Program, has funded Sustainable Living Armidale (SLA) to again offer workshops on how to save household energy. SLA is a community volunteer organisation founded a dozen years ago to build community resilience in response to climate change and resource depletion.
SLA has offered numerous workshops related to sustainability. The current workshop will examine how typical households use energy, ways to physically reduce the need for heating and cooling, and ways to live in your house that will require less energy and save money. How to evaluate appliances will also be included.
The workshop will be held at The Hub (160 Bradley Street) Saturday, on May 22nd from 2:00 – 4:00pm. Workshops are interactive and respond to the questions and circumstances of those who attend. Because of Covid-19, please register: patsasch@gmail.com
