Beryl turns 102 years young

Beryl Dahlenberg celebrates her 102nd birthday
23rd Apr 2024

At 102 years of age Black Mountain resident Beryl Dahlenburg is proudly independent, keeps active gardening, and is able to do most things for herself.
Beryl was born in Hornsby and lived most of her live in Temora NSW. Since moving to the district in 2011 to be near her daughter Cheryl, she has kept herself busy. She attends Nicholli house in Guyra on a regular basis and enjoys meeting up with friends for craft and socialising. She also attends Church in Armidale.
Beryl lives in a granny flat with minimal oversight from Cheryl, and is determined to maintain her independence. She still loves spending time in the garden and looking after her flowers.
Beryl was joined by family and friends from her craft group and Church to celebrate her birthday on April 9th. They shared a beautiful birthday cake and she delighted in receiving flowers and congratulations from all who attended.
