TroutFest puts call out to ‘bomb’ Bradley street

Need some yarn bombing inspiration?
28th Sep 2021

Do you want to help ‘bomb’ Bradley St? With Yarn bombing or some other soft decorations that is!
TroutFest, with the help of CWA members, are calling on shops and local groups to help make Bradley street a place of beauty and fun during the week leading up to TroutFest. The themes are spring or fishing and you are invited to use all your imagination. There will be prizes.
There are some guidelines from Council that must be adhered to and some helpful hints. Apart from trees and traffic signs, CWA and the TroutFest committee hope that all structures in the main shopping centre are decorated with something to remind us of Spring or the joys of fishing and especially trout fishing in the week leading up to the festival.
TroutFest will run from October 15th through to the 17th. Bettina Donahue at the Wool Shop will be able to help with advice and products. So come on everyone. Let’s have some fun and show how creative you can be.
Register and get the guidelines from a CWA member or from the TroutFest committee or contact them by email guyratroutfest@gmail.com.
All shop proprietors will receive the guidelines from CWA. Shop windows can still be decorated if you prefer. Note you must be registered to participate: 0488 755 736.
