06th Feb 2024

Alice Stanley is Guyra’s entrant in The Land Sydney Royal Ag Shows NSW Young Woman (Showgirl) competition. The competition aims to identify ambassadors to promote the Agricultural Show movement across NSW.
Alice is a 23 year old pharmacy assistant and real estate agent who grew up in Guyra and completed her schooling at Guyra Central School.
Since leaving school in 2018 she has embarked on a journey of professional growth seeking real life experience in the pharmacy industry. She has completed a Diploma of Science and is currently studying a Cert. 1V in real estate.
While at school Alice was a member of the student representative council, serving as school captain in 2018. She was also a member of the Guyra Youth Council and continues to be an active member of the community taking part in various events and activities.
Her primary motivation for entering the competition was to inspire and uplift others, in particular the youth of Guyra.
Her interests include travel, outdoor activities, farming practices, yoga and spending time with family and friends. Alice says she is “deeply driven to positively impact others, encouraging them to reach their full potential and foster a sense of empowerment and well-being”.
She also “aspires to lead a life filled with travel and meaningful memories, and inspire younger people to do the same”.
Alice’s future goals include completing her pharmacy degree and building a fulfilling rural lifestyle complete with family.
Alice will represent Guyra at the Zone 13 finals in Tamworth on February 10th and will perform
official duties at the 2024 Guyra Show on February 16th and 17th.
