Bald Blair School Centenary Celebrations postponed until April, 2022

12th Oct 2021

The Centenary Celebrations for Bald Blair Public School intended to be held on 30th October, 2021 have, unfortunately, been postponed for the second time.
With schools still under COVID Level 3 lock down (no visitors) the school is unable to host the open day scheduled for the end of this month.
The new date has been set for Term 1 on Saturday, 2nd April, 2022. As it will be two years since the school reached its hundredth birthday (1920 - 2020), the celebrations have been scaled back from what was originally planned.
An assembly and open day will be held at the school, but there will be no sports day or evening gala dinner as previously organised.
The school is laying a commemorative paver path where you can have your family’s name and dates etched into a personalised paver. Orders have been extended to Friday, 15th October, 2021, so be quick to contact the school and get your order form.
A 100 year magazine is currently being compiled. If you would like to contribute your story or photos please email these now to baldblaircentenary@gmail.com.
All Bald Blair Public School past and present students, staff and families and community members are welcome to come and re-connect with friends at the Centenary Celebrations now on 2nd April, 2022.
