21st Apr 2026

Canadian folk/blues artist Joe H Henry and Australian guitar slinger Tullara will take to the stage in Guyra as part of the Festival of Small Halls, performing on Saturday, April 25 at the Australian Poetry Hall of Fame.
The event will run from 7:00pm to 9:30 with doors open from 6:30. Tickets are $35 and you can book online at www.festivalofsmallhalls.com and follow the links.
Now regarded as the benchmark for rural and regional touring, the not-for-profit music tour is presented by veteran festival producers Woodfordia Inc and is celebrating its 49th edition.
Métis singer-songwriter Joe H Henry possesses a voice described as “as powerful as a freight train” - a potent instrument delivering a rich blend of early rhythm and blues, soul and alt-country, underpinned by folk-inspired lyrical depth. Drawing on a remarkable life journey, from a homeless train-hopping youth to a homesteading father of five, Henry’s songwriting is both thoughtful and deeply authentic. His storytelling connects strongly with audiences, with each performance reflecting the depth of his lived experience.
Tullara is also set to impress with the release of her highly anticipated debut album Rebound, recorded and produced in Vancouver, Canada. The album marks a bold, genre-defying evolution in her sound, embracing modern pop and rock while retaining her signature introspective lyricism. Featuring infectious melodies and world-class production, Rebound showcases Tullara’s distinctive style. Her first single, I Don’t Believe in Giving Up, delivers a modern message of self-worth with a unique Celtic-pop twist, performed on her electric banjo.
