Lauren, Wal and Renee Irvine have donated ‘The Bull Bar’ to be auctioned for Can Assist

The Guyra Branch of Can Assist will be holding a fundraising auction at the Royal Hotel on Friday April 16th.
Up for grabs will be a unique piece created by Wal Irvine for the Farm Waste to Art competition at the Guyra Show.
The aptly titled “The Bull Bar” will go under the hammer with all proceeds going to help local patients
affected by cancer.
Auctioneers for the evening will be Michael Jackson and Steve Adams.
Like many local groups, Can Assist has struggled with fund raising due to the restrictions imposed during the pandemic.
President Wendy Jackson said that they were extremely grateful for the offer of assistance from the Royal Hotel which allowed them to conduct meat
raffles once a month.
Coinciding with their next meat raffle night on April 16th, they will auction the ‘Bull Bar’ which was kindly donated by the Irvine family.
They invite everyone to come along for their chance to bid on this unique item while supporting a great local charity.
