Polocrosse Carnival a great success

Where it all begins.... B grade subbies Best numbers to Dion Benson, Duncan Klabe and Jack Watters
05th Apr 2023

After a lot of rain and much deliberation, it was decided to run the 2023 Guyra Polocrosse carnival. Although the track in was a little wet, the playing fields were perfect as the Guyra club hosted 20 teams over a glorious sunny Autumn weekend.
Players came from as far as the Gold Coast, Warwick, Tansey and Dirranbandi in the North, Macksville, Grafton and Coffs Harbour from the coast and Bunnan from the South. The weekend saw good competition in all grades with Guyra making up seven of the total teams.
The Guyra teams played well on home soil and came out winners and runners up in most divisions, with many players receiving Best Number awards as well as taking out the more prestigious awards of the carnival.
