Seniors enjoy a day out thanks to Lions Club

Boarding the bus at the RSL Hall in Guyra before they embarked on the ‘Mystery’ trip
26th Mar 2024

On Sunday March 24th the Lions Club of Guyra held their annual Seniors’ mystery outing and a good number of senior citizens of Guyra enjoyed the day.
Leaving the RSL hall we travelled to Deano’s Trout Farm for morning tea supplied by Deano. We then travelled to Uralla and stopped at McCrossin’s Mill Museum were we had a good look around and then had lunch. After lunch, it was then on to the Little Birdy at Uralla, and then travelled home. A pleasant day out and all seemed to enjoy.
The Lions Club would like to thank all for attending, to Glen and Natalie for the use of their bus, Collon for driving and to Wayne Mendes of the Guyra V.R.A. for acting as our first aider (thankfully we did not have to use his services. Thanks also and to the members of our club, wives partners and guests. Once again thank you to all.
