Seniors Mystery Outing

31st May 2023

After an interruption of three years, caused by the pandemic the Lions Club of Guyra took 23 senior citizens on a mystery bus trip. They were accompanied by four Lions members, their wives and partners. Also onboard as our first aid officer was Wayne Mendes of the Guyra VRA. The bus was supplied by GAVNE enterprises and driven by Glen Vanderwolf.
Starting at the Guyra R.S.L. hall, we went to the standing stones at Glen Innes and had an enjoyable morning tea.
Then ventured on to Emmaville where a visit to the mining museum. We then went to the Club Hotel, and after a pleasant and enjoyable lunch, it was time to venture home. By all accounts everyone had an enjoyable day out.
On behalf of the club I thank all for their involvement on the day.
