Community mourns Rev. Andrew Campbell

The Presbyterian Church communities of Guyra, Ben Lomond and Glen Innes are mourning the loss of their minister, Rev. Andrew Campbell, who died last week in a farm accident near Tingha.
Rev. Campbell had served as minister of St Columba’s Presbyterian Church in Guyra since 2017. His leadership, pastoral care and warm presence made him a highly respected and much-loved figure across the region.
Beyond his church duties, Rev. Campbell was active throughout the wider community. He regularly conducted services at Kolora Aged Care, participated in ANZAC and Christmas Carol services, and supported local events.
He was a member of the Guyra combined churches choir and contributed his time to the Costa Tomato Exchange
Community Reference Group, offering a thoughtful and compassionate voice.
A Memorial Service will be held in Inverell at 10am on Wednesday, December 3rd.
For those unable to travel, St Columba's Presbyterian Church in Guyra will host a livestream viewing of the service.
Community members are warmly invited to attend, with seating requested before 10am.
Rev. Campbell’s passing is deeply felt across the district, and the many lives he touched will remember him with gratitude and affection.
