Bald Blair wraps up another amazing term

30th Jun 2026

Students at Bald Blair Public School have just concluded another sensational term filled with academic achievements, sporting successes, and cultural activities.
Recently, a team of students represented Bald Blair at the Armidale Zone Cross Country event. From there, three students—Dustin Turnham, Evelyn Kopp, and Fergus McFarlane—advanced to represent the Armidale Zone at the North-west competition held in Coolah. Congratulations to these outstanding students for their dedication and commitment to the school.
In addition, Dustin and Fergus attended trials for the PSSA Armidale Zone Soccer team and impressively made it all the way to the final selection round. Well done, boys!
At the heart of all these achievements is the quality teaching and learning that takes place every day in our classrooms. Our dedicated staff ensure that students are engaged, challenged, and supported to reach their full potential, both academically and personally. This commitment to excellence provides the foundation for all the success and opportunities we celebrate as a school community.
Looking ahead, next term promises to be equally exciting at Bald Blair. Students will participate in New England Sings, embark on an overnight excursion to the Thalgarrah Environmental Education Centre during Science Week, and a team of 13 students are set to represent Bald Blair at the Armidale Zone Athletics Championships in Tamworth in early August.
Finally, we are eagerly anticipating our Father’s Day BBQ and games afternoon, scheduled for September 3rd.
On behalf of Bald Blair Public School, I wish everyone a happy and safe holiday break.
