Brow salon now open in Guyra

A brand new brow salon is now open in Guyra, offering a full suite of brow and lashes enhancement services from a tidy to a full makeover. Beck Cochrane threw open the doors to her new home-based business ‘Brows by Beck’ a couple of weeks ago and has been pleased with the support she has received so far.
Beck moved to Guyra from Boonah Qld at the end of June with her husband Adam and three children. She grew up in Dorrigo so was already familiar with the area and Guyra was a good location to be closer to her extended family, with her parents living at Tingha and Adam’s parents at Glencoe.
The salon is run out of the couple’s home in Prisk Street, in a purpose-built room constructed by Adam who is a qualified builder. Having a home-based business enables her to work around family and offers flexibility for both her and her clients
Beck did her training in Brisbane and is able to offer a full range of services for your eyebrows and eyelashes. This includes eyebrow sculpts, eyebrow lamination, eyelashes extension and tints. Customers usually know what they want but Beck can offer advice on the best shape etc. She can also offer advice on after care which she said is very important.
Despite the fact that this is a new venture Beck said that she has already been fairly busy.
“There has already had a fair bit of interest and even before I opened there was good enquiry and people booking in,” she said. “I have been pleased with the response and have been enjoying getting to know people and helping them with their needs. I have also found that Guyra is a friendly town and people have been very welcoming.”
‘Brows by Beck’ is open 9am to 6pm daily (closed on Tuesdays). Appointments outside these times can be made by arrangement. The salon is located at 31 Prisk Street. Appointments can be booked on her facebook page or by phoning 0475 084 089.
